Alboran is a French hotel group founded in 2016 by hospitality entrepreneurs. Growing rapidly, the group works alongside renowned global brands to operate its properties both as an owner and under third-party management agreements.
The adventure began with the acquisition of the Mercure Reims Cathédrale, followed by the opening of France’s first Moxy at Lyon Saint Exupery Airport. Listening to travelers’ new expectations, the Alboran group developed the FirstName brand in 2022, with the strong conviction of bringing to life an innovative, vibrant, and welcoming lifestyle concept.

Today, the group brings together more than 600 employees across France and manages 27 properties, combining hospitality expertise, authenticity, and social and environmental responsibility.
